About Udhyami Nepali
Everyone of us is a Udhyami Nepali (meaning an Enterprising Nepali) working to make the vision of “ Sambriddha Nepal Sukhi Nepali” (Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali) a reality. The reason for this initiative is beautifully summed up in this sanskrit shloka:
उद्यमेन हि सिध्यन्ति कार्याणि न मनोरथैः |
udyamena hi sidhyanti karyani na manorathaih |
नहि सुप्तस्य सिंहस्य प्रविशन्ति मुखे मृगाः ||
na hi suptasya simhasya pravishanti mukhe mrigah ||
It literally translates to:
“We can accomplish any task only by making continuous and strenuous efforts and not by merely wishing to do so. By no means antelopes themselves enter into the mouth of a sleeping lion.”
The line beautifully highlights the importance of entrepreneurship. And we have the vision to become the voice of all enterprising Nepalis (Udhyami Nepali), and through their stories of innovation and entrepreneurship seek to inspire each one of us to ignite their own venture to contribute towards the common goal of “Sambriddha Nepal Sukhi Nepali”.
